Metals: All of Pilgrim’s metal designs are composed of three different metals—nickel, copper, and brass. There is no lead or any other harmful substance in the metals; all metal pieces are designed to be safe as possible, with a minimum of sharp corners and edges. Only lead free solder is used.

Beads: We use different styles, colors, and sizes of beads. The beads are always well attached to our products so that they do not fall off, but you should still take care with young children.

Papers: All papers are handmade from mulberry trees. The trees are not felled. Cuttings are made on the tree and its roots and trunk are left in tact to renew and grow. For cost savings, we also use recycled paper that we get locally in Milwaukee.

CARDS—RECYCLED-PAPER CARDS WITH A PIN*

*These cards include a metal pin attached to a card made out of recycled paper. Each card weighs less than one ounce, is blank inside, includes an envelope for mailing, and is nonmachinable.

CARDS—HANDMADE PAPER CARDS WITH A PIN

This type of card is packaged with any one of a large assortment of pins. It is blank inside and comes with a matching peel-and-seal envelope. The whole thing weighs two ounces and is nonmachinable.

CARDS—HANDMADE PAPER CARDS WITH AN ORNAMENT

All cards come packaged with a seasonally themed metal ornament and are blank inside. Standard cards measure 5” by 6½”; long thin cards are 3¾” by 8¼”; square cards are 5” by 5”. Ornament cards come with a matching envelope, weigh three ounces, and are nonmachinable.

For cards less than 1/4" thick use First-Class Mail Letter Rate plus 20 cents non-machineable surcharge.

For cards more than 1/4" thick but less than 3/4" thick use First-Class Mail Large Enevelope Rates.

For cards more than 3/4" thick use First Class Mail Package Rates.

MAGNET FRAMES

Our classic 3 ½” by 3 ½” frame with magnetic backing is made of one folded piece of clear acrylic in which a small photo may be inserted. A non-removable metal embellishment is attached to the front of the frame.

DOODLE FRAMES

Doodle frames are made up of a freestanding metal design of an animal, person, or object with thick wires protruding off of the design and curled into loops. One or more photos or slips of paper may be slid into the loops of wire. All doodle frames are 4” to 5” tall, including loop. Doodle frames are considered “smaller” or “larger” depending on the amount of metal used in the design.

MATCH QUOTES

A removable, wearable handcrafted pin decorates the outside of this colorful, 2 ½” by 3” matchbook, which flips up and holds a printed message on the inside.

NOTE QUOTES™

The front of each 4 ½” by 4 ½” note quote has a metal embellishment (not a pin) attached to the thick cardboard cover. The inside contains 120 white tear-away pages whose bottoms are printed with a repeating sequence of eight quotes. Call us for details about how to get a custom note quote.

Purses

These modern 3 3/4' x 5 3/4" sized purses are perfect for an I-phone. They are meant to hang on the wearer'rs neck with a soft cord.

EARRINGS

Earrings are 1” to 2” in length. The earrings come in assorted designs made out of metal, bead, and wire. All hooks are made of steel, contain no lead, and have been tested to be safe and surgical.
